Born in Stockholm, Sweden, in1957. Björn Dahlström works both two- and threedimensionally. His work includes highly regarded furniture for Cbi, as well as industrial design products for Atlas Copco, among others. Dahlström works in Stockholm and has over the years established himself internationally. In 2001, he was awarded the Torsten and Wanja Söderberg design prize, one of the most prestigious Nordic design prizes.

Born in Japan in 1967, he studied at the Kuwasawa Design School, graduating in 1986. In 1992 he began work as a free-lance designer and eight years later he established a studio in Tokyo. His professional career is rooted in the fruitful collaboration with Shiro Kuramata and Issey Miyake. The ten-year association with the famous fashion designer has produced numerous important projects, such as the Issey Miyake and A-POC stores.
