Ross Lovegrove
Ross Lovegroveborn 1958, cardiff, wales and he working in London.
Ross Lovegrove graduated from Manchester Polytechnic with
1st class BA hons industrial Design in 1980.
master of design of royal college of art, london, 1983.
In the early 80’s Ross Lovegrove worked as a designer for Frog Design
in Germany on projects such as Walkmans for Sony,
computers for Apple computers, later moved to Paris as
a consultant to Knoll international, becoming author of
the highly successful Alessandri Office system.
Invited to join the Atelier de nimes along with
Jean Nouvel and Philippe Starck, consulting to
amongst others Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Dupont.
If Ross Lovegrove returning to London in 1986 he has completed projects
for amongst others Airbus Industries, Kartell, Ceccotti,
cappellini, iittala, Idee, Moroso, Luceplan, Driade, Peugeot,
Apple Computers, Issey Miyake, Vitra, Olympus Cameras,
Yamagiwa Corporation, Tag Heuer, Hackman, Alias,
Herman Miller, Japan Airlines and Toyo ito Architects, Japan.
Ross Lovegrove was Winner of numerous international Awards his Work has
been extensively published and exhibited internationally
including the Museum of Modern Art in New York,
the Guggenheim Museum New York, Axis Centre Japan,
Pompidou Centre, Paris and the Design Museum London -
where in 1993 he curated the first permanent Collection. Ross Lovegrove was awarded the world technology award by
Time Magazine and CNN in November 2005.

This is why Designit always puts together a team of different designers who work together to develop innovative concepts, evaluate them and refine them into inspiring, simple and functional products.

Christian Bjørn has been a key figure on the Danish design scene since the end of the 1970s, and is today credited with much of the honour for having established Industrial Design as an independent profession in Denmark.
For Menu, Christian has created a series which, from its launch, wowed people worldwide. After a few months on the market, Christian’s Lighthouse series for Menu has already been awarded two of the most well-known design prizes in the world: the Red Dot Award and the IF Industrial Design Award.
