Even as a young man, Alexander Burhans, whose initials form the brand name, was interested in art and design. He’s especially fascinated with plain and unostentatious forms which combine purpose and aesthetics in a harmonious way. It’s quite obvious that Burhans was originally especially interested in exhibits of the well-known Bauhaus and Ulm Schools.
