When Rondo was designed in 1986 emphasis was placed on durability, ease of use and minimum maintenance.
Rondo was tested by The Danish Institute of Technology and received the highest possible classification. The chairs can therefore stand up to the hard wear they are subjected to in such places as canteens, conference rooms, lecture rooms, institutions, airports, etc. Rondo can be stacked to a height of 12 chairs and stored on trolleys. The shells are made of pressed, laminated beech with veneered surfaces in beech, cherry, maple and wengé, or a lacquer finish in many attractive colours. Danerka A/S is a Danish brand name furniture manufacturer founded in 1980. Danerka A/S produces quality furniture in timeless design for hard use in conference rooms, canteens, waiting areas, lecture rooms, private homes etc.
Danerka exports 75% of its production.

Our furniture is found in countless successful companies and organisations through out the world, as well as in the homes of many private individuals with a feel for modern design and quality.

An international sales organisation represents Danerka in a number of countries.

At Danerka, we believe in minimalism, and our mission is to develop furniture and furnishing systems that are simple and yet stimulating and motivational while also offering comfort to the body.

To attain this, Danerka works in close co-operation with well-known Danish and international designers and a specialised ddt DESIGN team. In this way we add new products to our current collection.

To meet the users' needs it is our goal to be innovative in design, concept, and choice of material and to manufacture timeless, high quality furniture, with a long life and minimal impact on the environment.

In order to achieve this goal, we use only the best materials from reliable suppliers, and our staff use very precise standards, ensuring the quality of each individual product.

Danerka Design Team was established in 1999 as the internal development department. The team creates new products in close co-operation with the end-users, engineers, designers and sub-suppliers.
This working method ensures that we develop products of a high quality and design using the optimum technical solutions and the best materials.
Danerka constantly considers new methods of manufacturing and types of materials to make sure that our products meet the international standards required for use in public areas.

Quality is based on getting the right material from reliable suppliers.

Therefore Danerka works in close collaboration with sub-suppliers throughout Europe, and requires high demands for the process in connection with research and development, handling of orders, logistics, and distribution.

Since starting production in 1980, high quality has always been a top priority. The Rondo and Classic chairs were tested by the Danish Institute of Technology and received the highest possible classification. The chairs can therefore stand up to the hard wear they are subjected to in such areas as canteens, conference rooms, lecture theatres, institutions, airports, etc.

The processes are in constant improvement and together with our suppliers we are currently developing a quality management system to meet the demands according to the ISO 9001 standard.

Most of our chairs are made of moulded plywood, using beautifully matching veneers. The graceful curves of the seat are skilfully moulded by craftsmen in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.

Danerka A/S will at all times meet or exceed the demands of the authorities in environmental issues. This applies to research and development, marketing, and the selection of sub-suppliers. Danerka A/S constantly analyses the life cycle of its products and the packing material is being recycled where possible.
